Privacy Policy

Settling an estate means sharing family details with strangers. Here is exactly what we keep when you reach out about a probate or inherited house, and what we do with it.

Effective Date

We adopted this Privacy Policy on October 2, 2026, and it has been in force since that day.

Information We Collect

Most of what we hold comes straight from you. An executor, heir, trustee or estate attorney typically gives us a name, a way to reach them, the address of the house, and some background on the estate: whether a probate case is open, who the personal representative is, whether a living trust owns the home, and what condition the place is in after the loss.

Separately, our web server logs routine visit data on its own. That covers the kind of browser and device in use, which pages were opened, the page that sent you here and a rough area inferred from your IP address. Small cookie files help the pages load correctly and show us which guides families actually read.

How We Use It

Everything an estate shares with us serves one goal: deciding whether we can buy the house and, if so, getting it closed. In practice that means returning your call, studying the property, putting a price in writing, and, only when you ask, talking with the estate's lawyer or the title officer handling the file. Visit logs help us repair broken pages, keep junk form entries out and meet our legal duties.

How We Share It

No list of grieving families is for sale here, and we will never sell personal information about you or the estate. A few people do see parts of it when the work requires it. Relatives or counsel you bring into the conversation hear what you want them to hear. Once a sale is under contract, the Nevada title and escrow office receives what it needs to close. The vendors who run our site, phones and messaging tools process data for us alone. A subpoena, court order or similar legal demand may also compel disclosure.

Your cell number and any texting consent you give stay with us; outside companies never receive them for promotions of their own.

Text Messages and Calls

Leaving your phone number and asking us to follow up gives us permission to call and text you about the estate property, including through automated dialing or texting systems. Nobody has to agree to this in order to sell to us. Texts arrive as the conversation calls for, so frequency varies, and your wireless carrier may charge its usual message and data rates. Send STOP whenever you want the texts to end; one final reply will confirm it, and nothing further follows unless you sign up again. Send HELP and we will reply with assistance.

Security

Access to estate files is limited to the few people working on them, and the site runs over an encrypted connection. Even careful safeguards can fail, so we will not claim perfect protection. Keep death certificates, letters of administration, bank statements and Social Security numbers out of web forms; if a document is ever needed, the title company has a safer way to receive it.

Your Rights

Want to know what we have on file? Ask, and we will tell you. You can also have inaccurate entries fixed, or have records erased once we no longer need them, unless the law or a closed transaction requires us to retain a copy. Calls, texts and emails stop the moment you say so. If you live in Nevada, you may file a do-not-sell request for covered information; we will log it even though selling such data is not something we ever do.

Third-Party Links

Several of our probate guides point to outside sources, such as the Eighth Judicial District Court, the Clark County Assessor or state agencies. Those organizations run their own websites under their own privacy rules, and we have no control over either.

Contact Us

Privacy questions from an executor, heir or attorney are welcome. Call or write to us using the telephone number and email address listed on this page, and tell us which estate or property your request concerns.

Changes to This Policy

Should our practices shift, a revised policy will replace this one here, with the new date stated at the top. Visiting the site after the revision means the newer version governs. Separate rules for using the website appear in our terms of use.

Text Messages (SMS)

We Buy Las Vegas Probate Houses sends text messages only to people who check the optional SMS box on one of our forms. Checking it is never required to get a quote, an estimate or any service. Messages relate to your request (for example quote details, scheduling and follow-up). Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time or HELP for help.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with or sold to any third party.
